Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Manali – Drive to Jobra (9,800 ft) – Trek to Chika (10,100 ft)

• Drive: 1.5 hrs | Trek: 2 hrs (2 km)
  Arrive in Manali and after a short drive to Jobra, the trek begins through pine forests and lush meadows. After a gentle walk, reach the beautiful campsite of Chika by the riverside. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 2: Chika to Balu ka Ghera (11,900 ft)

• Trek: 5 hrs (5 km)
  Begin the day by crossing streams and ascending through flower-covered trails. Witness the valley opening up as you approach Balu Ka Ghera, a stunning campsite surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Rest and prepare for the pass crossing the next day.

Day 3: Balu ka Ghera to Hampta Pass (14,100 ft) to Shea Goru (12,900 ft)

• Trek: 8-9 hrs (9 km)
  The most challenging and rewarding day! Early morning climb to Hampta Pass with thrilling views of Lahaul Valley. After spending time at the top, descend steeply to Shea Goru—a serene valley with a glacial stream. Camp overnight under the stars.

Day 4: Shea Goru to Chatru (11,000 ft) – Drive to Chandratal (Optional – if roads are open)

• Trek: 4-5 hrs (6 km) | Drive: 3 hrs
  Descend along the rugged terrain of Spiti to reach Chatru, where the green valley meets barren mountains. If the weather permits and roads are clear, drive to the mystical Chandratal Lake for a short visit before returning to Chatru. Overnight stay in camps.

Day 5: Chatru to Manali via Atal Tunnel / Rohtang Pass

• Drive: 5-6 hrs
  After breakfast, drive back to Manali through the scenic route via Atal Tunnel or Rohtang Pass (as per season). Reach Manali by evening. Trip ends with unforgettable memories of the Himalayan adventure.
